I initially created this illustration in early 2025, when I was first heavily remodelling my portfolio website and wanted some whimsical assets. At first, I had imagined it to be the image that would pop up when one would get a 404 error page on my website, however, during its development, I figured it's a rather backwards-way-of-thinking. Therefore, I repurposed it to have a more meaningful role - as the header image of my work catalog page. That page sat dormant and untouched for well over a year - a bit ridiculous in hindsight, but that has actually been a recurring trend throughout every single itteration of my creative website in history.. ever.. For whatever reason, I have always gone around taking care of every other aspect like the layout, the template, the tabs, the pages, the hyperlinks, literally anything and everything else before I would even start to think of putting any substantial effort into showcasing my work.
